The George, a former coaching inn, stands in the middle of Hadleigh High Street surrounded by numerous speciality shops.
We are only a few minutes walk from both the 15th century Guild Hall and the impressive St. Marys Church and Deanery Tower.

The George boasts a friendly traditional bar facing onto The High Street and with no gaming machines or jukebox, it is an ideal place to meet and chat.
We have been fully non smoking from 23th March. Our dining room is a seperate room at the rear of the building which can seat up to 40 persons, a comfortable place to enjoy a meal from our full menu and daily changing specials, all meals are cooked to order and the majority are either home or locally-made. We boast a wonderful patio garden of which a good part is covered with heating and well lit catering for the smoker and non smoker alike, during the summer months we offer table service in the covered area and can find a BBq or hog roast on the go. We also have occassional music in the garden.With a car park as well holding 25 cars you can always expect a warm and friendly welcome. |
