The George Public House enjoys a superb position half way along the High Street. It is close to the stunning parish church of St Mary's, opposite the Curry Restaurant, a few doors down from the superbly stocked Co-op supermarket. It is picturesque, welcoming; a home from home. It's a true community pub of the type that is all too rare these days. Our restaurant serves quality food mostly from local produce at reasonable prices. A selection of beers, including traditional cask ales, are available from the bar. We can also host such as wedding receptions and business events in our first-floor function room. |
